Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. Probably they will respect him when they see him.’ But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’ – Lk 20:13-14

God loves you. He wants you to know how much He loves you so badly that He sent His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to tell you.

The Pharisees and the religious leaders didn’t respect Jesus when they saw Him. They didn’t believe He was the Son of God, and they refused to worship Him. In fact, they had so much hate for Him that they not only rejected Him; they also killed Him! But you and I have the chance to respond differently.

God loves you. He sent Jesus to die on the Cross to prove it to you. Will you receive His love?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the gift of Your Son Jesus Christ! I will receive Him as Lord of my life, and give Him the glory and honor He is due. Thank You, in Jesus’ name!
