Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you. – Gen 28:15

God will not leave you until He has done what He has spoken to you! If you’re still alive and kicking, and God is still here, then there’s still plenty of time.

Scripture makes one thing abundantly clear: God does not give up on us. The only way His blessings won’t come to pass over your life is if you give up on Him! Sometimes (ok…more often than not) God’s will takes some time to unfold. We are preoccupied with time, and want things to happen yesterday; God, on the other hand, is immune to time, and doesn’t always share our concern with immediacy. But God will see His work through until completion!

We must learn to take comfort in His presence, instead of only in progress. Even if God is moving more slowly than we would like Him to, we still must wait in patient faith! God will never leave you. He will do what He has promised to do: always and forever, Amen.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your faithfulness. You are strong, and You are steadfast. You will accomplish every single thing You have spoken over me, in Jesus’ name!!
