Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield. – Ps 5:12
When you believe in Jesus, you are righteous in Him (2 Cor 5:21). That means you are surrounded with the favor of God. So when you go into an interview, you are surrounded with favor! When you are planning a new business endeavor, you are surrounded with favor! When you put an offer in on a home, you are surrounded with favor!
The enemy cannot come where the favor of God is found. God’s favor changes everything!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your favor! I know there is nothing I can do to earn the favor of God: Jesus purchased it for me on the Cross!
