Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you–unless you believed in vain. – 1 Cor 15:1-2

Life is not easy! There will be times in your life when you are tempted to give up on the Gospel. There will be moments when you think it might be easier to live for yourself, instead of living for Jesus.

Hold fast. You’ve come too far to give up now! Cling to the word of God. Even when life changes, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb 13:8). He will never leave you or forsake you, for as long as you live!

Stand in the Gospel. Persevere until the very end! You can do this; because Christ is in you!

Prayer:

Father, strengthen me to persevere and continue on. I want to stand strong on Your word, and believe in You like never before! Help me to hold fast, in Jesus’ name!
