Commentary from Pastor Mike White:

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed…
– 1 Cor 15:51

Death is a myth. There is no such thing as death; only change. When we “die,” Scripture explains that we will transition from a physical body to a spiritual body. Everything we do in this life should be in preparation for that transition.

Some might say, “I don’t believe in life after death.” Or, “I don’t believe Jesus was raised from the dead.” But a failure to believe in something does make it untrue. If I choose not to believe in gravity, it does not mean that if I jump in the air, I won’t return to the ground! There is life after death, whether you believe in it or not.

Your life has infinite purpose and eternal significance. God put you on the earth to do something nobody else can do. Your mission in life is to find out what that is, and honor God as you do it for His glory!

Prayer:

Father, I want to be sold out for You! You give me eternal life. You give me purpose in this life, before I pass on into Heaven! Thank You that I am Heaven-bound. Release the Heaven bound in me, here and now, in Jesus’ name!
