Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses… – Col 2:13

When you gave your life to Jesus, you died to yourself and came alive in Him. The debts you used to owe are no longer yours to pay. The guilt you used to carry is no longer yours to bear! The weight of the world has fallen off your shoulders, and Jesus now carries every burden for you.

Best of all, God forgave you “all trespasses.” When you gave your life to Jesus, God granted you complete forgiveness of all your sins! Thank God He forgives us for all trespasses – not just some, and not just a few! The Cross means we have nothing to hide, and nothing to fear. You can be yourself, knowing that God not only loves you; He really likes you too!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for complete and total forgiveness in Jesus’ name! Thank You that when I gave my life to Jesus, You made me alive with Him. You forgave all my sins! There is nothing left to hide, and nothing left to forgive, in Jesus’ name.
