Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Righteous are You, O Lord, when I plead with You; yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? – Jer 12:1

Jeremiah was a prophet. He heard from God all the time! But he still had questions. There were things in his life that didn’t make sense. There were issues he didn’t understand! He was perplexed, and he needed an answer from God; so he asked.

It’s ok to have questions. Take them to God! Not only does He want to hear them; He longs to answer them, in Jesus’ name!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for open ears and a receptive heart. Thank You for always making time to listen to me, in Jesus’ name! I’m so in awe that the God of the universe would make time to talk to me.
