Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared…[we became] heirs according to the hope of eternal life” (Titus 3:4,7). Think back to the moment you decided to give your life to Christ. Were you convicted into salvation because you lived such a sinful life? Were you threatened into salvation by someone on the subway platform preaching fire and brimstone? Probably not. My guess is that God’s kindness drew you to repentance. He made Himself known to you, and you were so overwhelmed by His goodness and His mercy that a life without Him no longer made any sense. God’s kindness draws men to repentance (Rom 2:4). Show other men and women the kindness of God, and they will be drawn into His kingdom.

Father, thank You for Your kindness! Thank You for Your goodness. Thank You for drawing me into salvation: eternity with You!
