Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
But the Lord said to Gideon, “The people are still too many; bring them down to the water, and I will test them for you there. Then it will be, that of whom I say to you, ‘This one shall go with you,’ the same shall go with you; and of whomever I say to you, ‘This one shall not go with you,’ the same shall not go.” – Judges 7:4

The right team is just as important as the right plan. God had a plan for victory: He would use 300 men of Israel to overthrow their enemy; but now Gideon needed to assemble the right team to execute God’s plan.

Once God tells you what to do, ask Him: who will go with me? Ask God to surround you with people who are courageous and fearless (v 3), and then confidently launch into your destiny!

Prayer:

Father, surround me with an amazing and anointed team, in Jesus’ name! Give me friends who are faithful, and co-workers for Your Kingdom who are called. Thank You for Your provision, in Jesus’ name!
