Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! – Ps 105:3

To “seek” the Lord means to “desire Him and require Him” (Strong’s H1245; Hebrew baqash). To seek God means you want to see His face, because you need to see His face! Two things will happen when you make a decision to seek God:

1) You will find Him.

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. – Jer 29:13

When you seek God genuinely – will all your heart – it will never be time wasted. There will be a return on your investment. You will sow your time; but you will see His face!

2) Your heart will rejoice (v 3; above).

When you seek God, not only will you find Him; your heart will rejoice in the seeking process: you will be made glad, and filled with supernatural joy. Even as you set out to seek God, your heart will be full of joy like never before! God never gives you just enough; He always gives you more than you need!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your presence. Thank You that simply by seeking You, I will find abundant joy. I will seek You with my whole heart, in Jesus’ name!
