Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. – 1 Sam 10:6
Saul wasn’t ready to be king! So the Holy Spirit turned him into another man. No matter what God has called you to do, trust that He will turn you into the man or woman who can get it done!
Thank God He never puts a Heavenly call on our lives, just to leave us the same. He changes us. He makes us new. He turns us into the men and women we have to be to fulfill the call He put on our lives!
So what are you facing this morning? You can do it! Because God has made you new.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. – 2 Cor 5:17
Prayer:
Father, thank You for making me new. Thank You for giving me everything I need to fulfill the calling You put on my life! You are a good God, and I love You with all my heart, in Jesus’ name!
