Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen…” – Acts 7:44
God showed Moses a pattern on the mountain of God:
According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it. – Ex 25:9
God showed Moses a pattern so Moses would know what to build. He gave Moses a template so Moses would know what to do! Have you made time for God to show you a pattern in prayer?
Before you can build it in your life, you have to see it in prayer. God will show you what He wants to do in and through you, and then ask you to partner with Him to get it done! But the first step is always asking God to show you what He has for you in prayer!
Prayer:
Father, show me what You have for me. Show me whom You want me to become. Show me what You want me to do! Show me what You want to build in me, and through me, and make me faithful to get it done, in Jesus’ name!
