Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Jehoash was seven years old when he became king. – 2 Kings 11:21

Here was a seven year old boy becoming king over Israel. Do you feel unprepared for what God has called you to do? Inexperienced? Wet behind the ears? Imagine how Jehoash felt! He was seven years old, but he was expected to be king!

God surrounded Jehoash with wise counsel until he was ready to make his own decisions. God blessed Jehoash with support until he was strong enough to stand on his own! God chose you; and He will surround you with whatever and whomever you need to get His work done!

Take heart. God knows what He is doing. He put you there because He wants you there; and He will keep you there because He got you there. Now go out and do what He has called you to do.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your plan! I receive my divine destiny, in Jesus’ name. I thank You for the way You are preparing me, and for surrounding me with people who can help!
