Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood. He made a pit and dug it out, and has fallen into the ditch which he made. – Ps 7:14-15
What the enemy intends for evil, God will use for good! God’s promises us that He will turn the plans of our enemies against them. If anyone sets a trap for us, God will cause them to fall into it! Do not worry about the evil plans of others. Pray that God will confuse their plans, and actually use them to bless you!
You don’t need to defend yourself, because God Himself is your Defender. Instead of fighting back, bless them!
If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; for so you will heap coals of fire on his head, and the Lord will reward you. – Prov 25:21-22
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your faithfulness. You never let me fall or fail. You protect me from my enemies! Thank You, in Jesus’ name!
