Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. – Rom 4:13

God has spoken promises over your life. God makes promises, not through the law, but through faith. In other words, as long as you have your faith, every last one of God’s promises is guaranteed.

Aren’t you glad God’s promises don’t depend on your feelings, but on your faith? Aren’t you happy God’s promises aren’t conditioned on your behavior, but on God’s faithfulness?

Keep your faith. No matter what happens, never stop believing in Jesus; and every single promise will come to pass!

Prayer:

Father, You have made some great promises to me! Thank You that those promises don’t depend on my perfection; but on your faithfulness. I am righteous by faith, in Jesus’ name!
