Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. – Prov 21:3

Obedience activates the Kingdom of God. Obedience – doing what God has asked you to do – is the best way to invite His blessings into His life. Obedience is certainly not popular; but it is absolutely effective.

Faith is simple. Do the right thing: “do righteousness and justice.” Do simple things well! Yes, God responds to grand, sweeping gestures; but He also responds to simple, obedient faith. Just do the right thing! God will take care of the rest.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for honoring obedience. Thank You that righteousness and justice are more acceptable than sacrifice. I want simple, obedient faith, in Jesus’ name!
