Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
This will be the third time I am coming to you. “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.” – 2 Cor 13:1

You may have to tell people things more than once. Sounds annoying, doesn’t it? But that realization is actually quite helpful in allowing you to avoid frustration. If you expect to tell people something more than once, you won’t get annoyed when you have to tell them the second or third time!

Paul delivered the same message to the early church as often as was needed. He was willing to tell them what God said to them not just once, but over and over again as needed. God demonstrates the same grace and patience with us![1] So it’s only right that we show it to others.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your patience with me. You are willing to tell me what I need to know again and again and again until I (finally) start to listen. I’m so grateful for Your patience with me, in Jesus’ name!

[1] “I have also sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, ‘Turn now everyone from his evil way, amend your doings, and do not go after other gods to serve them; then you will dwell in the land which I have given you and your fathers.’ But you have not inclined your ear, nor obeyed Me.” – Jer 35:15
