Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

Behold, the Lord rides on a swift cloud, and will come into Egypt; the idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, and the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst. – Is 19:1

Two things happen in God’s presence: idols fall and enemies melt.

Idols are things that distract you from God. Do you want to expose the idols in your life? Introduce God’s presence, and watch them fall away.

Enemies are people who drive you from God. Do you want to conquer the enemies in your life? Introduce God’s presence, and watch their hearts melt!

The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. – Ps 97:5

What you really need is more of God’s presence. Put everything else on the back burner, and watch your cares melt away.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your presence! I want to live life in Your presence so that every idol falls. I want to live life in Your presence so that the heart of all my enemies melt!
