Commentary by Pastor Michael White:

“Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver?” (Is 50:2). God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Yet sometimes, when the going gets tough, we forget to rely on Him when we need Him most. The God we serve is the same God who formed the heavens, and then created man in His image. Do not forget that He is still just as powerful as He was when He made the waters of the Red Sea stand on end so Moses and the people of Israel could pass through them. Are you facing something tough? Then you have all the more reason to rely on God. His hand has not been shortened, and He still has power to deliver you from every situation you’ll ever face.

Prayer:

Father, thank You that You never change! I know I can rely on You for everything. You give me strength when I need it most, and encouragement when my courage falters. I will trust in You fully and completely.
