Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. – Is 48:18
How many times in your life have you looked back and just wished you had listened to God? He told you to avoid a relationship but you dove right in. He told you to stay home but you went out instead! If I had a dollar for every time I didn’t listen to God – unfortunately – I would be rich!
But it has cost me. I have wasted years. I have lost friends. I have mismanaged finances: all because I refused to listen to God. Maybe your testimony is similar to mine?
But here is the Good News: there is still time! There is still time to heed His commandments! There is still time to inherit His perfect peace and watch it flow through your life. There is still time to receive His righteousness that crashes in when you need it most! No matter what you’ve done: if you’re still breathing, there’s still time!
Make this decision with me today: I am going to listen to God like never before! I’m going to look back over my life in 5 years, and be thankful that when He called, I answered; and when He instructed, I listened to what He told me to do!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for divine instruction. Your commandments are sweet. Your word is life! I never want to walk apart from Your leading, in Jesus’ name!
