Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. – Col 3:1
You were raised with Christ! Yet what you decide to “seek” is still up to you. You are a new creation (2 Cor 5:17)! Yet you are still being transformed into the likeness of His image (2 Cor 3:18).
God has done the work! Yet He is still asking you to partner with Him. Seek Him like never before. Pursue the things of Heaven and forget about things on the earth. Your salvation is complete; yet redemption is ongoing. It is finished! Yet there is more to be done as He works in you. Take God’s hand, and say “yes” to everything He has for you.
Prayer:
Father, I want to partner with You. I want to take Your hand and allow You to lead me into my destiny! I’m so grateful for the finished work You already completed on the Cross! Now help me to say “yes and amen” to everything You have left to do.
