Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day?’ They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.’” – Matt. 20:6-7

We have work to do as the Church! Many of us are sitting around idle. We go to church on Sundays, attend small groups every week, and maybe even pick up our Bibles once in a while. But we are not sharing the Gospel in our everyday lives. We aren’t opening our mouths and telling our families and friends that Jesus is real! We aren’t using our time to sound the alarm that Jesus is Lord.

There is no time left to be idle. Consider yourself hired by God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ! There is a harvest that needs to be taken in to heaven. Hearts all across our nation and our world are soft and ready to hear the good news that Jesus is Lord! Somebody has to tell them. Will you put your hand up to be mightily used by God?

Prayer:

Father, make me a mobilizer for Your Church. I want to share the Gospel with the world. I want to preach all over my city! Give me at least one opportunity today to tell someone else about You. I want to make Your name famous! And I will stop at nothing to let the world know who You are.
