Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. – Heb 10:10

Jesus died once for all. When we put our faith in Jesus Christ and believe in Him for salvation, there is nothing that can contaminate our sanctification.

You will have days when you don’t feel holy. You will say things you will wish you could take back. You will do things out of anger and frustration that don’t honor God. But the Cross is big enough to blot out all sin. Jesus already died once, and He doesn’t have to die again! Put your eyes on Jesus, and let everything else fade from your vision.

Whatever you are going through, just remember that Jesus died for you. He suffered so that you could be saved. He gave His life – once for all – so that you could find yours.

Prayer:

Father, transform me into the image of Your Son Jesus Christ! I cannot change myself; but You can change me. Mold me as You see fit, in Jesus’ name!
