Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us … – Heb 10:19-20
Jesus consecrates a new and living way for us! The Law is old and dead, but the Spirit is new and alive!
When we try and earn our righteousness for ourselves, we are using a method that is old and dead. Something that is dead can no longer bear fruit! It rots, turns bitter, and starts to stink.
But when we have full assurance in our faith (v 22) and approach God with boldness (v 19) we participate in the new and living way! Because we are alive, we will bear new fruit.
Choose the new, living way. Choose Jesus Christ, and find new life.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your perpetual promise of newness of life. You have made me a new creation. You make all things new!
