Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. – Ps. 116:1

Wouldn’t you love to be head over heels in love with Jesus? Wouldn’t you love to wake up every morning excited to talk with Him? To drift off to sleep every night whispering to Him that you love Him, and to hear Him saying He loves you back?

You cannot be in love without conversation! Psychologists have found that intimacy is the most important factor in a long-term relationship.[1] And do you know how you build intimacy with someone you love? By talking to them! By listening to them, and by letting them hear you. You cannot be fully and completely in love without spending time in conversation.

Let Jesus hear you today. Take time for conversation! He wants you to pray to Him. He wants you to come to Him! He wants you to be closer to Him than you’ve ever been before. Because as much as you want to know Him, He wants to know you all the more.

Prayer:

Father, help me to make time for conversation with You today. I want to spend time with You, with Jesus, and with the Holy Ghost! I pray You would overwhelm me with intimacy like never before, in Jesus’ name!
