Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! – James 3:5
The words that come out of your mouth will dictate the quality of your life. Are you speaking breakthrough over your life? Are you saying “yes” and “Amen” to the promises of God? Are you praising Him in the midst of the most dire circumstances? Are you thanking Him when it seems like you have nothing to be thankful for?
If you want to change your life, change your speech. Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Prov 18:21). Where the tongue goes, the body follows.
Prayer:
Father, remind me to speak life over my body, my family, and my finances. I know that when I speak Your truth, my life will line up with Your word.
