Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth–to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people–saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” – Rev. 14:6-7

We know our mandate: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mk. 16:15). But did you know you don’t have to fulfill that mandate alone? Preaching the gospel doesn’t have to be scary! Your mandate to tell other people the Good News doesn’t mean the weight of the world is on your shoulders. God goes with you. He will send angelic assistance “to preach to those who dwell on the earth” (v 6, above). Wherever you go to preach the gospel, messengers of heaven go and preach with you!

The Great Commission is not a crushing weight that God lays on you to bring you to your knees. It is a wonderful invitation that God extends to you because He desires to partner with you to win souls for the Kingdom of Heaven! You have the joy of preaching the gospel to every person you come across; and you get to have confidence that when you share the Good News, you are never alone.

Prayer:

Father, help me to realize that You help me in every single moment. Thank You for never leaving me alone! Thank You for sending angelic assistance. I am so grateful for Your goodness and the way You always lead me, in Jesus’ name.
