Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; nor shall the fat of My sacrifice remain until morning.” – Ex. 23:18

The fat of the sacrifice represents the best part: the richest, choicest section of what you offer to God. And His command is this; take it now. Don’t leave the best part until tomorrow.

God wants to meet you in prayer. He wants you to experience His presence in such a way that you are instantly and irrevocably changed! The fat – the best part – is available. You can have an encounter in prayer with Jesus! You can meet God face to face.

But don’t leave it until morning. Take it now. Refuse to keep putting off the first day of an active, life-giving prayer life until “tomorrow.” God has made Himself available today.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for being available! I want to experience the “fat” of prayer. I want the best part! And I thank You for giving it to me, in Jesus’ name.
