Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy. – Ps 33:3
You are an original. When you sing to God, He wants you to sing a new song: something that has never been sung before. When you live your life for Jesus, He wants you to do something new: something that has never been done before!
God made you unique. You are an original! You don’t have to be a copy. He put something in you – plans, purposes, dreams, and vision – that no one else has ever had! He put you on this earth to do something that no one else can ever do.
Why would you try and be like someone else, when God created you to be you?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for making me an original. I will sing a new song to You! I know I am on this earth to do something – and to be someone – the world has never seen before! Help me to celebrate You in everything I do, in Jesus’ name.
