Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. – Ps 46:4

The “river” in Scripture is often symbolic of the move of God’s Holy Spirit. There is a “river” whose streams shall make glad the city of God. Did you know it’s possible to be one of God’s people – to live in His city – but not be glad? Did you know you can be saved, but still be miserable?

If you’re missing joy, you need more of God’s Holy Spirit! You need a fresh encounter with Him! You need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking tongues!

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. – Jn 7:37-39

If you want to pour out; you have to let God pour in. Say yes to the Holy Spirit; and let Him move through your life like never before!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your Holy Spirit. I need You, Lord! I want You to move through my life like never before. Move me; shake me; and do whatever You want to do, in Jesus’ name!
