Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
So Israel made a vow to the Lord, and said, “If You will indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.” – Num. 21:2

God has delivered your enemy into your hand. But He did it on one condition: that you utterly destroy him.

Your enemy is Satan. When Jesus died on the Cross, He dealt a death blow to Satan. Jesus conquered death. He defeated the grave! And as Jesus’ representative on the Earth, your responsibility is now to enforce that defeat: every day, and everywhere you go.

Do you remember what God told Satan in the Garden of Eden?

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” – Gen. 3:15, NIV

The enemy will strike your heel. Satan will rise up against you with violence and virus; with panic and fear! But you will crush his head. And the way that you enforce your inevitable victory in Jesus is through prayer! Declare the Word of God over your life. Remind Satan that you know the truth: you have been made victorious in Jesus! And as you do, God will give you the victory that Jesus died for you to have:

“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.” – Rom. 6:20

Do not allow Satan to move in your life for one second. Jesus gave you the victory! And now you get to “utterly destroy” any foothold Satan tries to take in your life.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for crushing Satan under my feet. I will not allow his activity in my life. Not one bit! I cast him out right now in Jesus’ name.
