CityLight Pastor Commentary:
“Then Israel sang this song: ‘Spring up, O well! All of you sing to it…’” (Num 21:17). When Israel needed water out of a well, they sang to it. Do you need a breakthrough in your life? Sing! Pick your favorite worship song; sing at your job (not too loud!), on the subway, or as you’re walking down the street. There is amazing power in worship. You probably already know you can speak the Word of God over your life and expect change to take place; did you know you can sing over any situation too? Worship confuses the enemy. Instead of sulking, let’s sing! Let’s never be ‘conditional praisers,’ waiting until we see the results of prayer before we worship God’s awesome power. Sing to Him now, and watch your life change!
Prayer:
“Father, help me to sing! Whenever I need provision, I will sing to You. Whenever I see breakthrough, I will sing to You. Help me to remember the power of worship in Jesus’ Mighty Name!”
