Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

Then Balak said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and look, you have blessed them bountifully!” – Num 23:11

Balak hired Balaam to curse the people of Israel. But Balak quickly learned an important lesson: no man can curse what God has blessed! Balak offered Balaam abundant riches to curse the people of Israel; but Balaam simply could not curse Israel, because God had already blessed them.

If you’ve given your life to Jesus, you are blessed! And because you are blessed, you cannot be cursed. You don’t have to worry about your enemy’s plans for you. Scripture says God will send the enemy’s plans into confusion (Ex 23:27). You don’t have to care what evil people speak about you. Scripture says whoever tries to curse you will be cursed (Gen 12:3)!

You are blessed! And no one can take your blessing from you.

Prayer:

Father, I am blessed in Jesus’ name! I know that because You have blessed me, I cannot be cursed. Help me to live fearlessly because no one can take my blessing from me!
