Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Then the officers who were over thousands of the army, the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, came near to Moses;  and they said to Moses, “Your servants have taken a count of the men of war who are under our command, and not a man of us is missing.” – Num. 31:48-49

Moses sent twelve thousand men into battle against the Midianites. The Midianites were the enemy of God’s people. They had infiltrated families in Israel and enticed the men of Israel to sin (see Num. 25:6). So God told Moses to destroy them. Not only did Israel destroy them, but they took “…all their cattle, all their flocks, and all their goods” (Nu. 30:9). What’s more, “not a single man” of Israel who went into battle was missing.

God will protect you. He will prosper you! When you go into battle where He tells you to war, you will be supernatural preserved. You will not go missing when He has his hand on you! He will give you victory, now matter how unlikely or undeserved it may seem.

Do you trust God? Do you seek Him with your whole heart? Because when you do, God’s Word promises that not only will he prosper you; He will also keep you in the palm of His hand.

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. – Jn. 10:28

Prayer:

Father, thank You for protecting me. I know when I go to war on Your behalf, You will make sure I never go “missing!” You will keep me in the palm of Your hand, and close to Your heart, in Jesus’ name.
