Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance. – Ps 65:11

God’s paths drip with abundance. “Abundance” is the Hebrew deshen,[1] which means fat and fertile blessing. Abundance means having more than you need to survive. Abundance means enough for you to be blessed, and leftovers for you to go out and bless others!

The key to abundance – to Biblical excess – is to walk the path God has for you. What has God called you to do? Step out and do it, with full faith that He will provide where He has placed you!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. – Prov 3:5

Prayer:

Father, make me obedient to Your word! Help me to walk in Your path. I know the key to abundance is walking out the plan You have for me, in Jesus’ name.
