Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

Then we cried out to the Lord God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and looked on our affliction and our labor and our oppression. So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders. – Deut 26:7-8

The Israelites didn’t have to fight their way out of captivity. They simply had to lift up their voices and cry out to God! When they cried, He heard; and when He heard, He moved!

You don’t have to fight your way to breakthrough. Cry out to God! Lift your voice, and make your desires known to Him. He will fight for you, and deliver you from all your fears.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your faithfulness! Thank You for fighting for me. I know I don’t have to insist on fighting my own battes; when I cry out, You will deliver me!
