Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; their foot shall slip in due time… – Deut 32:35

Vengeance belongs to God; and that means it doesn’t belong to us. Scripturally speaking, we have no right to retaliate against our enemies. God’s promise is that when we stand aside, He will settle the score!

If someone says something that offends you, let it go. If someone does something that rubs you the wrong way, let it go. It’s not worth getting angry if anger is going to take your eyes off Jesus, or interfere with your love for others. You just worry about loving God with all your heart; and He will take care of the rest!

Prayer:

Father, help me to let it go! I declare that offense and anger have no hold on me. Whenever I’m offended, help me to let it go, in Jesus’ name!
