I want to take this opportunity to make you aware that currently we are running a deficit of $107,000 for 2022. For many years, we finished the year with a surplus which allowed us to grow our building fund and prepare for the future. Owning our own building and not dipping into these vital reserves is key to CityLight advancing in its mission. In order for us to make up this deficit, we are giving you an opportunity to give toward our Greater Things Are Still to Come end-of-year offering. This special offering will be key to positioning us to begin 2023 in the black, financially strong, and ready to hit the new year running with the vision God has given us. You will have an opportunity to sow specifically toward this goal throughout November and December. As always, I don’t put pressure on any of our members, but I do put pressure on God’s Word, trusting that He will supply our every need according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus. All I ask is that everyone who calls CityLight their home pray and ask the Lord what He would have them do – then do it.
