Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. – Lk 17:14
As they went, they were cleansed. Faith means acting on God’s word. If the lepers hadn’t stepped out and acted on the word of God, they wouldn’t have been healed! But because they put their trust into action, they were cleansed.
What has God been telling you to do? Step out and do it; and watch His presence come!
Prayer:
Father, bless me with simple obedience, in Jesus’ name. Help me to step out in faith, and do everything You have called me to do! I am a lover of Your presence; so won’t You please fill me with purpose?
