Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

So Moses swore on that day, saying, “Surely the land where your foot has trodden shall be your inheritance and your children’s forever, because you have wholly followed the Lord my God.” – Josh 14:9

Joshua went with eleven other men to spy out the Promised Land. Yet when all the spies returned, only two – Joshua and Caleb – had the confidence to take it. The other ten convinced God’s people that their enemies would defeat them. So the people of Israel were turned away from their destiny, and wandered aimlessly for forty years.

But Caleb would receive his reward. The Promised Land belonged to all of God’s People; yet only Caleb and Joshua would live to receive it. Inheritance belongs to those who step out in faith! All of God’s children are promised an inheritance; yet only those who believe it is coming, and position themselves accordingly, will receive it.

You are an “heir according the promise” of Abraham (Gal 3:29). Will you be bold enough to step up and receive your inheritance?

Prayer:

Father, make me bold in Jesus’ name! I want to receive the supernatural inheritance You created for me. Lead me into my destiny, in Jesus’ name!
