Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance. – Josh. 16:4

God outlined their inheritance. But His children had to take it. God has big plans for you! But they’re not going to happen by accident. They’re not going to happen without some grit and determination on your part that what God says is true, coupled with conviction to do what He asks you to do!

God is not a genie in a bottle. He is a Father. He wants to take you by the hand and lead you into your destiny! There will be moments along the way when He asks you if you are willing to take a risk. Will you say yes? There will be decisions on the journey where He asks you to make a hard choice. Will you be willing?

Your destiny is not just going to happen on its’ own. God will show it to you; and you have to step out and take it.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to find the balance between waiting on You and taking my inheritance. I know there are moments when I am called to wait! And I know there are others where I’m called to step out in faith. Help me to find the balance, in Jesus’ name.
