Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there… – Jn 20:14
Peter and John went home, and they missed an encounter with Jesus; but Mary lingered, and Jesus showed up!
Good things happen to those who wait. Mary waited by the tomb, and Jesus met her face to face. The disciples waited in the upper room, and the Holy Spirit fell on every one! When you make time to wait on God in prayer, He will make His presence known.
How long do you worship? Stay for one more song. How long do you pray? Pray just one more moment. Give Jesus the chance to show up, and He will never let you down!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for showing up! Help me to wait on the Lord and renew my strength. Help me to make time with You my number one priority!
