Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.” – Acts 7:51

Being “stiffnecked” can mean rejecting the Gospel. It can also mean “resisting” the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of the Living God is in you; and He wants to lead and guide you as you go about your day! As He moves, do you let Him have His way?

Do you invite the Holy Spirit into your day? Do you lean on Him to help you make decisions? When He asks you to stop and pray, do you stop? When He prompts you to share a word of encouragement with someone else, do you do what He says?

Don’t resist the Holy Spirit. Don’t quench Him! He wants to move through your life; so let Him have His way.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your Holy Spirit! I want to live my life in partnership with You! Thank You that He will lead me and guide me every step of the way, in Jesus’ name.
