Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! – Ps 150:2
We should praise God according to His greatness, and not according to our circumstances. Our circumstances are always changing; but God is constantly good! He is the only One who can redeem us, bring us out of our troubles, and restore us to greatness!
Those who only praise God when things are going well are called conditional praisers. But those who praise Him all the time are constant praisers! Is your praise conditional, or constant? Do you wait until after things have worked out to praise Him, or do you praise Him in advance by faith?
Our position defines our condition: not the other way around. When you give your life to Jesus Christ, you are a child of God. Seize hold of that reality, and praise God for calling you His favorite child. Praise Him in advance, and watch Him resolve every difficulty in your favor!
Prayer:
Father, help me to praise You at all times! I want to praise You in advance: even when it looks like the odds of success are impossible. I trust you to bring me through every trial and tribulation with grace and praise!
