CityLight Pastor Commentary:
“…for they cried out to God in the battle. He heeded their prayer, because they put their trust in Him” (1 Chron 5:20). Are you in the middle of a battle? Do you feel like you’ve tried everything you could possibly think of to improve your situation and find a little relief, but nothing works? Forget all the complicated methods, and keep it simple. Cry out to God. When we put our trust in God, He will deliver us from every situation. What’s more, He will deliver our enemies into our hand.
Prayer:
Father, thank You that You are the Deliverer! When I find myself in the middle of a tough situation, I’m going to cry out to You! You’re all I need to win the victory.
