CityLight Pastor Commentary:
“…they came to David day by day to help him, until it was a great army, like the army of God” (1 Chron 12:22). God wants to turn everything about us into His likeness. He grew David’s army until it was like His own army. God will grow and shape your heart until it is like His heart; He will mold and alter your perspective until it becomes His. God also promises us the mind of Christ, meaning He will give us wisdom and understanding until our thought processes perfectly mirror His Only Son’s. Open your life up to God, and ask Him to make you into the spitting image of His Only Son Jesus Christ!
