CityLight Pastor Commentary:
“…even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe” (Rom 3:22). The righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed to all who have faith in Him. The righteousness of God’s Only Son covers all who believe in Him. Paul’s letter to the Romans explains what so many Christians have missed: right standing with God does not come from our actions, but rather our faith. Yes, our actions are evidence of our faith; but faith has to come first. Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Your eternal life depends on it.

Father, thank You for imputing to me the righteousness that only Your Son deserves! You are so good to me, and I am eternally grateful!
