Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. – Ps. 20:7

Do you put your trust in men? Or do you put your trust in God? Men will fail; but God will never fail! Failure is absolutely impossible for God:

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. – Matt. 24:35

Maybe you’re reading this and you sort of trust God. You’re asking Him to rescue you in prayer, but you’re also hedging your bets. You’re asking Him to heal you but you’re still worrying every time you go to the doctor. You’re asking Him to send you a spouse but you’re still wondering if you’ll spend the rest of your life alone. You’re trusting Him for the perfect job where you make the money you need but still get to raise your kids and spend time with your family, but you’re still checking job listings online to see if God missed the message.

Trust in God! Remember the name of the Lord. For His name never fails.

And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. – Acts 3:16

Prayer:

Father, thank You that I can trust You! Whenever I am tempted to forget Your faithfulness, put me in remembrance. Bring me back to the place where I trust You: unconditionally and without fail, in Jesus’ name.
