Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to Your mercy remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O Lord. Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He teaches sinners in the way. – Ps 25:7-8
God teaches sinners in the way. He meets you where you are, and then works with you from that point forward. You don’t have to know how to “act right” before you come to God! You don’t have to have it all together for God to love you! God will teach you His ways. All you have to do is come; and He and will do the rest.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for not expecting me to be perfect! I am a work in progress: You know it, and I know it. Give me grace to persevere, in Jesus’ name.
