Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. – Ps. 18:37

Jesus is always our focus. We should keep our eyes on Him! We should pray attention to what Jesus is doing, instead of always looking around the corner for what Satan is planning next.

But when the enemy is clearly trying to mess up your life: pursue him. Chase him out of your life! Overtake him, and do not look back until he is destroyed. Satan has no authority to wreak havoc in your life! And you have “all authority” (Matt. 28:18) to kick him out.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. – Lk. 10:19

Prayer:

Father, Thank You for giving me authority over the enemy. I refuse to put up with his work in my life anymore! I am going to kick him out for good, in Jesus’ name!
